As a pretty long term and still active member on associated content I can say their contributors (not myself included) are in a hissy. Some bad reporting put out the story yahoo intends to close AC which AC is saying is entirely untrue, most of their contributors are already talking about jumping ship, at least the active forum members. I think handling it slower would have been better.
Apparently AC's founder didn't even tell his staff until hours before he announced it to the world. They were unprepared, their contributors were blind sided and as usual bad communication was all around. Personally I could care less.
I write for AC yes, as long as AC pays I'll continue to do so no matter who owns them. I'd say the same for Mahalo.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
