The notion or term idiomatic means or refers to a peculiar language expression not easy to translate. In fact one can know if an expression is translated formally or idiomatically by trying to find out if the translated meaning is close to the original word or if it was adapted for its use. I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
