What does it mean when a bird keeps tapping on the window trying to get in?

WE have a courting pair tapping on our windows every day. One also taps in the car mirror outside. I think they may be trying to connect with the bird reflection they see.

I had a mocking bird once that after it ate some crumbs I left out, would began waiting fo r me to leave the house. It would be in the strangest places like on the eave of the roof looking down or sometimes on the top step looking in to the house. The most amazing thing that happened though was while going to my car one time it flew off a low hanging branch near the auto and began circling very closely around my head like a hummingbird.

There's more to these creatures than many think.

Hate to say it, but I got to go with b4u2 on this one, death related for sure. Our family tradition said that if a bird got into the house, there would be a death in the very near future (to someone close to the family, or in the family)**aren't these family tales comforting?

We have the same problem, everyday at 6 o'clock, this tiny little red bird knocks on our window making our dog bark...very nice....I am a vegetarian since I was young and can't remember ever killing an animal but I am very tempted on Sunday mornings...:-)I honestly think they see some reflection on the window ...not sure.. would love to hear how anybody who has solved this problem WITHOUT harming these little creatures.

OR DID U FEED THEM LATELY? THIS IS ONE OF THE WAYS I GET MESSAGES. I GET THEM OTHER WAYS TOO.

I'm not here to scare you,i just felt you needed an answer...

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
