If you have a user manual for the machine, that will tell you the process, when you get onto the BIOS, you must change the boot device that the computer wants to boot from, you need to make the HARD DRIVE the first boot device and your DVD/CD the second boot device so that the computer will boot from the hard drive and not the DVD/CD drives, of course if there is a problem with the hard drive or the operating system, you will need to replace either the hard drive or the operating system.
Check your bios. Press f2 quickly before the os boots up. When you're there check out your settings.
If the error is insert boot disk. Check out the settings for disk drives and hard drives. When was the last time you replaced your CMOS battery?
Check out all the basic details first before assuming your bios is corrupted. And most importantly, make sure you use an AVR to regulate the flow of electricity coz it may affect the computer overall system. When you tried disassembling it (IF you were) check if you properly plugged everything in the right places.
Lastly, is it still covered under warranty? If it is call the pc manufacturer. If not, the problem would lie either in your bios or either in the drives.
Just a tip for you.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
