And welcome to Mahalo. Personally, I don't think this will be 'rushed' to all websites any time soon. Especially, as this new webM format is far from perfect currently.
While webM is comprising pictures better than jpg, it also isn't entirely 'lossless', as Google stated. If you look carefully at the example photos provided, you'll see they have a bit of a mist on them, as if they have a very thin vail on them. Other photos miss details, that they shouldn't miss.
Luckily, the format is now open source, so others can examine Google's work, and improve it. If enough effort is put in this, the webM format might be ready for use in a few years. However, even then, the adoption of this new format will be quite slow, and the majority of sites will keep hosting jpg pictures for a long time to come.
Whether you have to maintain two formats is actually entirely up to you. The webM format is aimed at websites specifically, so if you host several websites, then yes, you might want to keep multiple versions of the same picture. But, it is definitely not required.
You can keep using jpeg, migrate everything to webM, or just convert the ones you need for those websites. For now, you don't have anything to worry, though. You'll be able to use jpg for a long, long time to come.
I use ie9 now and the picture format is webm, and the video format is also webm. So when upload the video to Youtube, we must convert video to webm formate. I use a software, you can google it as bigasoft webm converter And I download free it here: dvd-creators.net/video-converter/webm-vp... Hope helps.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
