What exactly is a DLSR camera?

The Canon is a newer release and so a little more technologically advanced for shooting video and and has a more adaptable live view. The Nikon gives your the greater potential for high quality images in difficult light. So each is better in it's own way.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
