Try adding salt. If you want a good dough recipe try this.... 5 cups flour 1/2 cup vegetable oil 1 tbls yeast some salt and sugar 1 cup milk and 1 cup water 1 egg. In a bowl, water milk and oil and warm it up.

Add egg. Mix. Then add slowly to your flour mix.

Or let your mixer do the mixing for you.
