What have been the greatest innovations in search engine technology that did not come from a top 10 search engine?

If the latter, most of the search engines that came up with something really innovative went on to be successful... otherwise the idea wouldn't have been that innovative. If the former, probably Google. When they first started they were just the little guys, but they took on the search business with an innovative approach: using complex algorithms to determine what the best/most relevent results were.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
