This is a correct ruling - but notice that this law is not about the immigrants, it is about the American Businesses that hire them. And indeed, the state is free to define and enforce the requirements of doing business in the state. Requiring businesses to follow the law is pretty safe - so not sure what the dissent is here other than as 'back door' immigration enforcement.
Of course that is the intent, but a valid approach nonetheless that sets civil punishment for employers rather than enforcing "state" immigration laws against immigrants (which are invalid).
I think it is wonderful. For too long PIG corporations have been getting away with taking advantage of these poor people. I am still skeptical that HILTON HOTELS will obey the law.
I am skeptical too any law enforcement will do anything about. Corporate PIGS pay off the cops. This all looks good on paper though and keeps Tea Baggers deceived into shutting up.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
