What is a decent desktop computer with a monitor that will work for The Sims 3 and World of Warcraft for around $700?

I don't know too much about computers but I would like a decent monitor, decent video card, and probably a duo-core or quad-core processor. Something that would work for some video games and basic computer use. I've looked at some of computers that you can customize, but I really don't know what motherboard, video card, power supply and so forth to get for my needs or if I should upgrade the RAM or buy more separate.

Go to Dell. Com Check out the dell website. They always have some great deals.

Simms does not need anythign fancy. Warcraft will need a min of 2-3gig ramm to run well and also a fast internet connection. A good video card 256K dedicated card min, 512K is better.

If you check out the Dell Outlet center after you browse the different models you can often find a refurb or scratch and dent that will save you several hundreds $$$$$$$$$ If you can find an XPS that will work for you they are the faster and more designed for gaming and such. Duo Core is minimum, for that price you won't get a good quad core system. Unless you find one on sale.

Like on the new Studio line is. I just buiilt one with a quad core, 4 gb ramm, 20 inch monitor, 256K dedicated videro card, 640gb high speed (7200 RPM) hard disk, DVD drive, and more. With the 64bit of Xp included.

The normal $ is $1014, and the special sale they got on it now is $809. Its a bit over budget, but its quad core, 4gb ramm, and an upgraded 20 inch monitor so you will be set for years. And this has a default 2 yr warrenty too!

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
