What is a good introductory psychology book?

2 EddieNygma, regarding your answer "If it has to be fun, then the Dummies or Idiot's series are good" , Thanks for the books recommendations, I don't particularly like books that refer to us as "dummies" or "idiots". As I try to avoid negative connotations about myself or others. It is hard for me to understand how they sell books for "idiots and dummies" and how they are bought.

I guess there are different types of fun...I'll check the others.

3 The "idiots" and "dummies" line are intended to be self-deprecating. They usually present their information with a good sense of humor so as to be less intimidating, but for the most part they're still worthwhile. And they are more "fun" than a typical textbook.

If you pass by a bookstore, browse through them a bit to see if they're right for you. And try not to be too put off by names. :) .

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
