Social Media is still a fairly new area for a career. Because of this, there are multiple names and titles for the same job. Some commonly used titles for Social Media jobs are: Social Media Specialist, Social Media Consultant, Media Marketing Manager and Social Media Strategist.

Keep in mind when you are searching for these jobs to also do a salary comparison. The reason is that the pay is going to vary a great deal between companies. Also, web startup companies and companies that have been around awhile the prices will also be different.
