What is cheese wax? Can I just use paraffin wax for candle making instead?

Making candle with cheese wax is Eco-friendly as it is non-toxic. Cheese wax is a mixture of paraffin wax and crayons melted down in a pot and mixed it is then painted on cheese with a brush to control mold growth as the cheese ages. The crayons are the reason you see different color casings on cheeses. Candles are made from paraffin wax by dipping a string repeatedly into a pot of melted wax and hanging it up on a string to dry when the chosen diameter of the candle is reached.
