I'm not happy with his policies. I think he's a water-downed version of Bush. He followed through with few campaign promises (besides leaving Iraq, which is a joke, considering the Iranian military build-up... gee—you think we'll be back?).
As for his ratings, he's doing quite well just below neutral approval. You'd think that number would be lower, but the Tea Partiers seem to be backing democrats into a corner. They feel like they have to support Obama if they don't believe he's a communist. It’s polarizing BS.
What I learnt is pulling the lever for red or blue is a waste of a vote. I'm writing in Ron Paul next time. The independent turn out is going to blow people away.(They won’t win, but it’ll change the next election cycle).
What would anybody do if he is handed a country in debt and shambles. He took risks and tried out ways to bring us out of it...no doubt it failed and that brought down his rating. But, the fact that he took the risk and did not worry about his ratings made him more admirable.
He is still trying to pull strings here and there, it is just a matter of TIME that it will click and his rating will rise!
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
