What is quicker to query via XPath in MSXML, a node's attribute or its child?

This is purely an educated guess, but I would tend to think that an attribute would be quicker to query. Attribute names must be unique and may only contain simple string values while child objects can vary in type and are not necessarily unique. Back in the MSXML days, I would suspect that Attributes and other XmlNodes were probably stored separately and Attributes would likely be more efficient.

I repeat: this is purely an educated guess! More.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
