What is Skype Sensei?

A1. Skype Sensei is a portal site where language teachers and students can meet directly. €œSkype Sensei” comes from the name of a software application, “Skype”, (Skype allows users to make calls through the internet) and “Sensei”, a Japanese word for teacher.

It started in 2008 as a portal web site (www.skypesensei.net) which provides information to students who are interested in learning English. In 2010, Skype Sensei Info (SSI) and Skype Sensei Com (SSC) are established to provide better opportunities for both teachers and students. SSI and SSC are managed by a Japanese private businessman, Mr. Hidemi Dohi.

These are under Asia Stars, the trade name for his businesses in Japan. Skype Sensei is affiliated with English Source (www.english-source.com), an online English school in the Philippines. Mrs. Karen Alano-Caceres, CEO of English Source is Skype Sensei’s senior advisor.

More.

Skype is a wonderful program that allows you to keep in touch with friends around the world. You can simply chat using the keyboard, but the plus comes if you have a webcam and microphone. Then, you can connect your webcam and the mic, and the person that you are chatting with can see and hear you!

And if THEY have a webcam and microphone too, then you can both talk straight to each other! It's like a face-to-face conversation, only the person isn't right next to you. I find this program unbelievably useful and amazing.

I can chat with my friends that I have moved away from, I can (instead of using the phone) arrange plans, or finish up homework with a friend. Its very easy to use, too. Also, it has adorable smiley faces!

:D Sorry, had to add that in! It's also free to download. Here is their website just in case: skype.com/intl/en-us/home I hope this helped, and I hope you like Skype too!

Skype is an instant messaging program that allows you to chat to friends and family all over the world (provided they too are using Skype). The basic IM functions work the same way as any other IMing program. Skype is most known for its voice call functions, which basically allow you to make calls to landlines, cellphones or other skype users.(You do need to put credit on your account though in order to phone landlines or cellphones, but phoning other skype users from your PC to theirs is currently free).

Skype also offers video calls, which would require a webcam. You don't have to use either the voice or video functions, you can just IM instead, much like you would on MSN, AIM or other messaging programs.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
