Svt, which means supraventricular tachycardia, is the term used when the heart speeds up to a very fast, abnormal rhythm, beating many times faster than it should.
Doesn't work right, causing the heart to beat very fast. Least 100 beats per minute and may reach 300 beats per minute. Tachycardia (PSVT) or paroxysmal atrial tachycardia (PAT).
What causes SVT? Faulty electrical connections in the heart . Electrical problem is not clear.
