If it's an ordinary pound, than it would be worth the same as in 1985 - which is £1 (about $2). If it's a proof edition, than it would probably be worth around £5-7 (about $10).
That is the Welsh 1 pound coin, which is still in circulation and worth 1 pound. While the UK is combined, there are separate coins for England, Scotland, Wales, and the Isle of Man (at least). Scotland also has it's own banknotes.
