I think solar and wind power are the future. We have to stop relying on oil.
I don't think there is a single BEST alternative. Each has it positives and negatives. Wind and solar work only when mother nature cooperates.
Nuclear has radiation issues. Hydrogen, is expensive to produce in mass quantity. Bio fuels don't have a lot of energy per gallon and they tend to cause food prices to rise.
However, a combined approach is a good way to go. I also think that micro power is better. With todays tech, almost every home and office building could be a power generation plant.
Thus the need for big central power plants would not be needed. Combine wind, solar and hydrogen to power your home and office. Its doable now.
I wrote some hubs about this particular subject:hubpages.com/hub/advantages-and-disadvan....
The hydrogen fuel cell. The only drawback is you need to produce hydrogen which takes power, so unless the fuel used to create the hydrogen is green ...your end result is not green. Hemp oil is a perfect way to power the hydrogen generation, which results in a zero emission, carbon negative, green energy source.
Also Diesel engines can run on straight hemp oil!
I totally agree with RodEccles here. If you are interested in helping to develop a new concept in vertical axis wind turbine technology please follow the link below and download (free) the pdf it links to:keepandshare.com/doc/2292492/new-concepI have taken this idea as far as I can on my own. Time for somebody else to take over.
Developing this system might provide an excellent 'business-start-up' opportunity for the right person.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
