In these days digital SLRs become very cheap, and if you are looking for good quality photos just buy a dslr not a point and shoot. I am currently managing a page at this Mahalo website, named as "Best Entry Level Digital SLR". Go there and you will find not only plenty of resources to choose (the lowest one is around $400) one cheap but very good beginner's digital slr but also an article featuring 'Good Cameras Under $600'.
The link for this page is given below: mahalo.com/best-entry-level-digital-slr However, If you are already decided to buy a point & shoot, go to the following link of pcworld. Com's 'Top 10 Point-and-Shoot Cameras', where you can see these top camera's features and you can also compare them side by side to choose the best one for you. (I am currently using Canon A590 IS- the top P&S camera of this chart, and I am very happy with its performance -understanding the fact that it is not a dslr) Link: http://www.pcworld.com/article/123719/top_pointandshoot_cameras.html Happy shooting, take care.

There have been great advancement in the area of entry level digital cameras over the past few years. These days you can get good digital camera for a very affordable price, some even selling for less than $100. I have been using a Canon Power shot for years and it still works great so I can recommend that brand.
Some other top manufacturers are Sony, Nikon, Olympus, and Panasonic. Here are a couple resources for digital camera reviews: reviews.cnet.com/digital-cameras/ consumerreports.org/cro/electronics-comp....
I'd stick with the first answer from this site: amazon.com/s/?ie=UTF8&keywords=beginner+... If you are talking about a polaroid digital camera, this is a definate beginners camera for you, 58$ is a pretty fare price for all the memory the thing is capable of containing...
If you are looking for a camera that is the easiest to learn how to use then I would recommend a Kodak Easyshare.
1 Canon digital Rebel xti is great, and they have more pro ones to fit your budget,I've had great success and reliability with Canon cameras. See some of my photos at parentephotoarts dot blogspot dot com .
The best digital camera is to find one that will best fit you and your lifestyle. Don't just buy the latest or the one that claims they are the best digital cameras out in the market. You wouldn't want to buy a DSLR and use it with your home activities or family outing and have to lug it around?!
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
