What is the best Final Fantasy Storyline?

A lot of people think that Final Fantasy VII has the best story line. Cloud is hired by a group named Avalanche to bomb mako plants made by Shinra in Midgar. Avalanche hates Shinra because they are using these plants to suck up the planet's life force just to provide power to the city.

Later in the story he meets the last of the Ancients, Aerith, finds out that his rival Sephiroth is alive and he unravels the truth to his past .

Final Fantasy II (SNES). A dark knight (Cecil) fights under the guise of loyalty for a kingdom (Baron) only to find out it's sinister motives. After swearing to abolish the hate that he himself had caused, he casts off his 'darkness', and fights himself to become a paladin.

He then hooks up with some people (Lunarians) that are indegenous to the moon and learns he is the son of one (Golbez) that is mind controlling his best friend ( Kane ) to acquire the crystals of legend for absolute power. After finding out his father (Golbez) is a 'moon people', he quickly learns as well that his true enemy is a giant moon alien (Zemus) in the core of the moon twisted into a monster of pure hate (Zeronomus). S only means of getting there is in a giant ship called 'the big whale'."Wait.....What?

Final Fantasy 3 from Super Nintendo for sure! Just the thought of that game makes me happy, but miss my childhood at the same time. I loved the story.

Final fantasy 8. I missed the game. Best opening movie, battle music, summons, comedy, world, sci-fi are here and its awesome.

I hope square-enix will make Final Fantasy 8-2.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
