I've built a few blogs using Blogger, including my primary blog, Dreamtime... dreamtimepodcast.com. If you visit, you'll find I've made the site as "unBloggerlike" as I could, while still using the Blogger features I like. That included: - Removing the Blogger toolbar through custom CSS.(Note Bene: There is an ongoing debate about whether doing so violates the Blogger ToS.

I believe it doesn't). - Adding a custom Google Search box that allows you to search through Dreamtime. - Adding a column that allows visitors to sign up to Kindle and audio versions of the blog.

- Adding Amazon links for affiliate revenues. - Linking the blog to Twitter that drives traffic both to the Twitter account and to the blog... http://www.twitter.com/dylantweets.What I like about Blogger: - It's easy to use and to update, especially with the new draft.blogger.com Dashboard. Layout is drag-and-drop.

Blogger offers several useful pre-built "gadgets," such as the ability to display RSS Feeds in your blog. - It's simple to point a domain at your blog, eliminating the "blogspot" subdomain in your URL. - A;though I only have anecdotal evidence, my experience maintaining Blogger and non-Blogger blogs indicates that Blogger content tens to show up more quickly and with a higher-ranking in Google searches.

What I don't like: - Ongoing formatting issues, usually caused by using "Blogger in Draft" to create and using the older Blogger software to edit (the default). - No easy way to include an audio player for podcasts/audio files such as offered through WordPress.

This is easy to answer. I have a blog that I maintain with much love and attention, about my favorite writer - Fernando Pessoa. This is the URL: umfernandopessoa.blogspot.com I used a default template and changed a few things, like the header (put a picture there), but not much else, as I like a clean and professional look.

I love the blogger system for its simplicity and straight-forward thinking. Although its not the most complete system (wordpress is better), you can't beat it for ease of use - and this matters a lot when you only have a couple minutes a day for a blog post. Btw, check out my Mahalo page for Fernando Pessoa here: mahalo.com/fernando-pessoa.

I haven't built lots of blogs, just a few, but the best one, the one that I,m focused is "La Cueva del Lobo" : lacuevadellobo.blogspot.com/ I been writing with dedication in my blog since 2007. I write about science fiction, science, videogames and lots of other topics; unfortunately it's in spanish so most of you wouldn't be able to read it, sorry :).

I have a blog on blogspot! I update it at least once a week and drop by every weekdays. I don't really encounter much problem on my blog.

I don't change my layout often as well. The template I'm using was downloaded somewhere and I just changed a couple of setting on it's CSS such as background colors, fonts, & font colors. I also changed the banner to make it more 'me'.

A tip for those who wants to create layout, it's better if you'll pick something that looks plain. They are easier to edit than the complicated ones. Plus, if you're not that familiar with CSS, it's okay not to edit the codes.

The key in personalizing your layout is just by making your own banner image. Banners give different looks on a template. So by changing the banner image, that downloaded template would give your blog a different look without you changing the codes.

Oh by the way, here's my blog if you want to check it out. iamrichgirl.blogspot.com.

I tried my hand at making a Tech blog site awhile ago, though it originally started out as a site for random entertainment. The site was made with the stuff I browse through on the internet during my small breaks at work. It is meant to entertain and stave off boredom first and foremost. It's called: My 5 Minute Break my5minutebreak.blogspot.com/ I started writing it earlier this year.

I don't submit as many stories these days because I am busier at work than earlier this year. I also spend a lot more of my work free time on Mahalo now as well. I need to make a post about the new iPods released yesterday within the next day or two.

Keep your eyes open for it.

I had a lot of blogger blogs - 17 of them to be exact - but I recently deleted a bunch of them after exporting them and I uploaded them to my own domain on the WordPress platform. MUCH happier with WordPress. MUCH, MUCH happier.

However, I do still maintain a couple of blogger blogs, just because I sort of have to until everyone knows I've moved (I've redirected them, but it doesn't always work right. ) This one of mine is a michys-book-reviews.blogspot.com/ book review blog on Blogger. I used one of the default templates, but went in and manually altered the CSS to extend the width and other minor things.

This one is my yourrealityisadream.blogspot.com/ personal mini-bio and static page. I used a 3rd party code template that I tweaked a little myself. Uploaded the template through the XTML uploader.

I think it's pretty, but I wouldn't call it 'the best' because the code is a little whacked and that means the widgets don't work well - fortunately for this blog, I didn't want or need widgets/sidebars, etc. I love the integration of Adsense into the blogger, because it's super easy. However, all this said, I totally am in love with my WordPress platform blogs hosted on my own domain and I've had no problem integrating Adsense into them (since they aren't hosting on the WP site). I know you didn't ask about WP, but I still can't help but throw in a good word for them.

Plus, I'm really http://ourunsentletters.com/blog/ proud of this blog that is hosted on my domain and uses the WP platform and a special theme created just for the blog. Anyway - sorry for going off track there! Hope this helps some.

I actually have several blogs on blogger.com. One of the blogs that I consider best is my flagship blog, that although is hosted in blogger has it's own custom domain (recommended for everyone) and the template is a combination of an initial 3rd party template and self designed. I have tweaked it so much that I can almost safely say that it is of my own design:) Contrary to many who uses WP (which I also have some blogs running on this platform), one the main reasons I maintain this blog is that it is my first and it is also a way of saying to the blogger (blogspot) community that when there is a will, there is a way.It does not matter where you blog or what platform you use, you need hard work, patience, a little bit of creativity, SEO For Dummies and of course, content.

I pride myself with this blog as I occupy Google's search results in the first page on some good keywords which are related to my niche and in particular, the term Google Affiliate Program. iblogzone.com.

I actually have two blogs. The new one is whateverdreams.blogspot.com/. I started this recently just to record my activities which need not be categorized at the moment.

bindusaju.blogspot.com/ is a bit older. I learned to edit little bit of html codes in it. Blogger is easy to use, but I found it difficult to arrange my pictures in places I really want.

That is a time consuming process, since I have no programming background. I tried to learn css, too hard for me. Love to experiment a bit more with html.

I have started a blog on bakery Industry which provides readers with new and views on recent development in bakery industry with new on ingredients , machinery , packaging and food safety . I find blogger.com an easy platform for bloggers to update with various features bakerybazar.blogspot.com.
