We love The Practically Perfect Pajamas by Erik Brooks. Delightful story with a touch of humor and a sweet lesson on friendship and being yourself.
It depends on the age of the child. A younger child might enjoy "Verdi" or "Stellaluna". "Good Night Moon" is always a classic favorite.
For a lightly older child might enjoy the poems of Shel Silverstein, or his "The Giving Tree. " A child who is old enough for a chapter book, but not necessarily one without illustrations could enjoy "The Phantom TollBooth" or any of the American Girl collection series or even the OZ series by Frank Baum.. Also "A Wrinkle in Time" and its sequels are a magical experience for any child. I read it at 22 and was mesmerized.
Hope this helps!
My favorites are "Everybody Poops" and "The Gas We Pass.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
