What is the best treatment for toenail fungus? Has anyone had the lazer treatment? Is it effective?

The laser treatment is still experimental. nytimes.com/2009/03/20/business/20fungus... now, the only sure cure for this is presciption medication. While the cider and other home remeidies prvide a temporary clearing up of the fungus, they do not kill it, meaning it will come back.Html.

Thanks for the info. The FDA has just approved the use of a specific lazer to combat toenail fungus. I just don't know how effective it is.

There's a $2.99 tube of pungent ointment at most drugstores. Rub some on the affected nails and if you keep at it for a month or two, new nails will grow in without fungus. Or there are prescription drugs for this, but they're expensive and side-effects include rash, liver damage, and death.

I don't think lazers are going to do anything. I got rid of a stubborn fungus on one toenail with daily application of the $2.99 ointment. Only used about 1/10th of the tube, so I got rid of the problem for about 30 cents.

Compare to spending $hundreds for the pills and risking bad side effects.

My tube says "CVS Pharmacy Maximum Strength Fungus Ointment" Contents say "Zinc undecylanate". Good Luck.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
