My son has had toenail fungus for over 2 years. Is there a home remedy? Insurance won't cover medicine needed to cure it?

After doing a lot of research online about toenail fungus and Vicks I decided to try it. I have had one discoloured toenail - the one beside my baby toe for almost 2 years now. To me it was a dark brown colour.
I tried Vicks. Rubbed it on the toenail and underneath the toe bed twice a day (with nail polish on) for a month. After 1 week the top of my toe nail started to get rough and separate itself.
I wanted to stop because I was afraid my toe nail was going to fall off. I continued this time filing the top gently. As the toe nail grew I cut it.
Two months later there is hardly any brown left. I would say it is 90% cured. Vicks does work.
I think it doesn't work for severe toe nail fungus. Hope this helps.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
