I know there was a Fall Thanksgiving sale on at Travelzoo, and I think travelocity also had one. If I find the links from the email promos I just got, I will post in the DB. Travel-goddess.
Com often has special airline deals, in the Spot Deals section, and there are links to a lot of the main travel sites like the ones mentioned above. For the big travel sites, Wednesday afternoons are the cheapest day to book. Fares can change as often as 3 times a day so it pays to keep checking!
Good luck!.
Book early - Travel light One thing is for sure, you'll get the cheapest flights the earlier you book. Some airlines are starting to charge for loaded baggage like Ryanair, so think about only carryon and in any event that way you won't lose yr baggage. I tried Travelzoo, Travelocity and Priceline recently but was not that impressed.
I reverted to using farebusters.com and find their flights the cheapest.
Travel Sites There are many travel sites you can use to compare fares. Travelocity, Orbitz, Bookit, Priceline and Expedia are just a few. You get the best deals if you book months in advance.
I always tell my family and friends that if they want to travel on a dime, the best way to do so is to plan a year in advance. Once you decide where you want to go, get a travel reward credit card, and put all your everyday expenses on it. Use the card to pay for your grocecies, gas, lunch or dinner at restaurants, and any other place that you can use the card.
You will accumulate points fast. The trick is to always payoff your balance in full before the due date so that you do not get any finance charges. You may have to pay an annual membership fee; however, it is worth it.
Use the points you accumulate throughout the year to get free flights and hotel rooms or significant fare reductions. I highly recommend the American Express SPG card because you get 1 point for every dollar you spend and you can get points that can be used for hotel rooms and flights.
2 either early or late. If you can take a redeye, the day of, that gives you about as good as you can get. If you can take an extra day or two off, and offset your visit, so it starts at the last minute, or ends the moment it's over, it will give you your best chances.
Most airline websites now have the opportunity to shop by price, and don't overlook Southwest Airlines. The rule of thimb is: the more it is inconvenient for you, the more inconvenient for others, and so the less competition for seats - and empty seats bring no income. Airlines would rather have a little profit than none at all.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
