Private schools are non-profit (usually) organizations that charge tuition. Some are day schools, and some are boarding schools, or a combination, and might be geared to a particular gender. They are accredited by the state and must follow the state's rules and policies for certification.
Graduation policies may vary from school to school. Charter schools are schools within a city or county school district and are publicly funded, hence free to students. I don't know of any that are gender specific or that are boarding schools.
They must be state-accredited, following the state's rules and policies as well as those of the local school district they are in, including for graduation. While they offer the usual academic curriculum leading to a diploma, they often focus on a particular academic or vocational area. For instance, a charter school may offer studies in a large variety of languages or many sciences, and only students with that particular interest would attend there.
A certificate acknowledging successful completion of a particular focus can be issued along with a diploma Other charter schools might focus on a particular vocational area or career option, such as computers, health sciences, or college entry and so offering a large number and variety of AP courses that a regular public school may not have. It is worth noting that teachers in charter schools are usually paid much less than regular public school teachers with the same credentials in the same school district, and with fewer benefits. When I was a high school student at a private school in Chicago, I heard it was for those reasons that charter school teachers were those who could not gain a position in a public school and thus were not as good, qualified, or experienced as public school teachers.
This is obviously a generalization. Please realize I have no evidence and can offer only the anecdotal commentary of others and would appreciate comments from other YAers with another view.
A charter school is a privately run school that gets government funding so it's still free. A private school doesn't get government funding so it charges tuition.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
