What is the difference between a regular public school and a public charter school?

There are many different kinds of charter schools, so practically speaking I can't say what the difference would be in your particular school. "Charter schools are public schools of choice, meaning teachers and students choose them. They operate with freedom from many regulations that apply to traditional public schools.

They generally offer teachers and students more authority to make decisions than most traditional public schools. Instead of being accountable for compliance with rules and regulations, they are accountable for academic results and for upholding their charter." The above quote is taken from the U.S. Charter Schools site: http://www.uscharterschools.org/pub/uscs... Education in this country is largely a matter of state (state government).

Check this link to find your home state Department of Education site. http://www.uscharterschools.org/cs/r/que... "Charter schools are... innovative public schools designed by educators, parents or civic leaders open and attended by choice free from most rules and regulations governing conventional public schools and accountable for results. Honestly Public schools are better then charter schools becasue colleges sees charter school very easy which they are and public school is more likee a private school in a way bad comparision).. but yh charters schools have theyre own rukles they don't follow the county while public school follow the county n the government.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
