What is the difference between conceptual physics and regular physics?

Conceptual physics is an area that is geared more towards the student who is a non-physics major and therefore lighter on the math. This course would be great for a student who is just trying to fill a science requirement rather than one who plans on becoming a scientist or physicist. From a student’s viewpoint it would be considered the most fun of the two since it plays on letting the student do the thinking.

Much of it would be considered show and tell where the professor/teacher will show how the laws work with experiments. The student will be able to see exactly how something works while everything is explained to them first hand. In a good course the student will also get to perform the experiment themselves also.

Regular physics is definitely for physics majors only as this is where quite a bit of math (both Algebra and/or Calculus) will be needed to learn. Nothing in those textbooks will be understood without a good understanding of Algebra and/or Calculus.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
