Speaking as a nurse, I can say there is quite a difference between the two. Food intolerance is usually related to the digestive tract while an allergy is a autoimmune reaction when antibodies that were already in your body from a previous exposure to the allergen kick into gear. Intolerance is an uncomfortable experience, sometimes extremely so, but not usually life threatening. An allergic reaction on the other hand could become life threatening very quickly.
Regarding food intolerance, an example would be when a person is lactose intolerant. That means they don't have enough of the digestive enzyme they need to properly digest dairy products. Bloating, nausea or stomach cramps, and watery bowel movements could happen.
It all depends on how intolerant the person is and the quantity of food they ate. Sometimes it takes hours to occur, sometimes it happens right away. Again, each person is an individual so it's hard to say.
An allergy to a particular food usually shows soon after the food is eaten and sometimes dangerously so as it can progress fast! Some signs of an allergic reaction are itching and hives and swelling. If the swelling starts to get bad and there are any signs of trouble breathing, get to the emergency treatment center right away!
Just a note of advice: Anyone allergic to eggs or shellfish should always let their health care providers know. Some vaccines are made with eggs and if a person is allergic to shellfish they are normally allergic to iodine.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
