What is the importance of being knowledgeable about other people's beliefs and attitudes towards religion?

The importance lies within the rehlm of the old addage. Knowledge is power. It is why we strive to attain higher education and instill in our children a love of reading and learning.

I enjoy reading and studying other religions and ways of worship. When I read a question on this board, sometimes I am still stumpted as to exactly what they are talking about, but most of the time I do have a base knowledge of what they are asking and why they are asking it based on the background that they give. I do find that often someone with a stated religion or way of worship has no real idea what their own religion or way of worship is really about and I do ask them to study their own before asking questions relating to others worship styles.

Know what you believe first and then study others, for if you cannot defend and explain your own how could you state that anothers is wrong or incomplete. More.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
