What is the invention you've always wanted people to produce?

Almost once a day, I seem to say, "I wish someone had invented ____". Do you ever think this? What would you want someone to invent?

Taking from Second Life At some point everyone in SL talks about the features of it you wish could make it over into RL (real life). The top two I'd say for me would be as follows: the ability to teleport... you know, like star trek... would make travel sooo much easier, make seeing friends and connecting with others something I could do regularly instead of infrequently, and would make a much better use of my time... assuming it could be done without carbon, it would even make for a better world! The second would be the inventory system.

A bit harder to explain.... but think about it like this, all my documents are on my computer, if I email them to myself there on another computer somewhere, saved in a folder. It would be brilliant if I could put all my real life objects (the piano, the sofa, my tv, etc) into a folder and carry it with me without any weight and taking up no real space like I do in Second Life. Then, when it comes time to use one of these things I just drag it from my inventory onto the ground or "rez" it.

Would make moving sooo much easier though I suspect my inventory in RL would be just as out of control as it is in Second Life. At least it would be searchable! .

I always thought someone would invent an anti-gravity device that you could use to travel about on, when you needed to get somewhere quickly and quietly. An anti-gravity belt would be just perfect, you know, with a range of 15-20 miles and the ability to take you upwards about 50 to 100' or so. Of course, it would be rechargeable and you'd have to set up driving reg's etc.Imagine getting pulled for improper flying!

My wish list Not sure these are inventions per se, but here’s what I’d like to see: An economical way to deliver electricity from the power source, and I don’t mean just sinking the utilities. We’ve been delivering electricity by wire for over 100 years! Surely there’s some alternative to the unsightly, vulnerable mess.

Trash to energy … I mean, duh! Solve two birds with one stone. Get rid of the garbage, produce energy.

This is actually starting to become economically feasible in my area. I just read that one of our local landfills is siphoning the methane and using it to generate electricity, which they’re selling back to our electric co-op. Solar/wind/other alternative energies.

The technologies are there. I wish we had the national will to finish developing and implementing them. I actually don’t mind that fuel costs are skyrocketing (as long as I can continue to afford it).

It means the day that alternative energies are economically feasible is coming closer. On the personal side, robotics. I would love to have a robot that could do routine housework for me.

Vacuum (I do have a Roomba and love it), clean the bathrooms, load and unload the dishwasher, make the beds, the repetitive daily drudgery. SharonW's Recommendations ROOMBA SCOOBA FLOOR WASHING ROBOT Amazon List Price: $400.00 On my wish list...

Scuba Mask A scuba mask with a heads up display built in showing depth, time at depth, compass heading, water temp, air pressure, etc. Possible text messages from the surface. The computer could even calculate the decompression stops when returning to the surface..

Something to collect dust and garbage do all the sweeping and mopping and cleaning for you and convert it all into energy to power itself.

Here is the answer revealed. " "I need an invention idea. Where can I find one?

" "I just wanted to thank all the people that have helped me with my math issues..." "What's the next BIG invention? " "Are you one of those people who always knew what they wanted to do in life, or did you just fall into it?" "I have heard people say "You y cannot produce energy or destroy energy. "Is this true?

" "Have you ever wanted to "get away from yourself"?" "What is the best invention ever? " "How many of you science people believe in a God and why?

I need an invention idea. Where can I find one?

I just wanted to thank all the people that have helped me with my math issues...

I have heard people say "You y cannot produce energy or destroy energy. "Is this true?

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
