Second-hand The cheapest (and IMHO most fun) way is to spend some time browsing through second-hand bookstores, op-shops, charity shops and the like. These books will turn up quite frequently, in near-new condition and very cheap rates. If this is not your idea of a good time, try searching on BookFinder the meta-search engine which searches the inventory of all the big second-hand book sites.
You won't get as many bargains because you'll have to pay shipping, but they'll be lots of them and the prices will be hugely cheaper than buying them new. Sources: Me .
Well, free is pretty cheap! :) Each month, Billy Graham offers a free book (sometimes it's a cd). You are welcome to make donations, but they are not necessary.
Just go to the link provided and sign up. Be sure to use a valid e-mail address, because you will have to check your e-mail and click a link to verify that you did, in fact, order the free book or cd. If you don't, you won't receive it.
This month's free offer is for the book titled "Believing God" by Beth Moore. Here's the link: https://billygraham.org/freeoffer.asp?f=0& And don't forget to check back each month to see what's new! There is also a website called Paperback Swap.At this site, you earn 3 credits automatically once you have posted 9 books to "trade" with someone else.
The books you list can be books that you no longer have need for, or books that you have found at yard sales or thrift stores (as long as they are in decent condition) Once you have a credit, you can make a request to receive a book. You do not pay for the book or the shipping costs of receiving a book, the member who is sending it does. If someone requests a book from YOU, you send the book via media mail, which amounts to about $1 or $2, give or take depending on the size of the book, and each book you send to another member earns you another credit!
This saves sooo much money! The site even has a tracker to show you how much money you have saved for each book that you've ordered from another member. I actually just placed an order for a Joyce Meyer book for my mother over there with one of my book swap credits.
If the book you are looking for is not posted and available in their system, you may add it to your wish list, which gives you first dibs if someone adds it at a later date. It's a really great site, and there are so many books to choose from. I've seen some really great christian books listed, and have even listed some of my own.

Books I would check your local library. Most carry book on tape and cd’s for you to borrow. If you are unable to find them there, you can always get used books on tape and cd on Ebay and Amazon for low prices.

Now, the other solution is Half-price books - they're in most towns and the Christian books are usually very cheap, often in the $1 bins. Sources: My answer .
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
