I must say that you brought up an excellent question. If all material come from god then its not necessary to assume that it was god, but rather the vast elements out there with in the universe. Here is my hypothesis if a being was created with high level intelligence to bring about organic life or possible brainwash to a low level intelligent society with the use of unknown technology then its is no coincidence that he found a planet with inhabits that were still in their planetary development, but think back 2,000 years ago of a possible alien intervention in a relativity primitive culture that has no explanation of explaining what they were seeing.
