What is the official definition of geography?

There are so many definitions for geography, but the most common and official definition of geography is the study of the earth surface and everything that is associated with it, such as its inhabitants, its lands and its structure . There are about five different branches of geography, which includes; *Physical geography :this branch of geography is also known as physiography. This branch studies the science of the earth.It deals on the makeup of the earth and studies topics like the atmosphere, biosphere, lithosphere and the hydrosphere.

*Environmental geography: this branch deal on the interactions between human’s beings and the natural earth. *Regional geography: this is a branch of geography that studies the areas of the earth. And studies topics such as , the natural elements that make up the earth.

Others branches include: *Human geography *Geomatics

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
