I would pick "Stand by me" (1986), directed by Rob Reiner and inspired by a Stephen Kings short story. I loved it, and I consider it a very deep story.
If I could just watch one movie, I would have to pick Charlie St. Cloud. It was one of the more recent movies we watched together as a family and it had a real nice story plot. Today so many movies go over board with extreme and this was just a real down to earth, sweet yet sad movie.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
