I don't know if anyone has changed their mind as a result of the arguments in Answers, but I know many people are influenced by them. Personally, I don't feel like my arguments can change the minds of any atheist. Usually when people reach that state, they are too far gone to suddenly turn around and become open-minded.
There are far more people out there, however, who wrestle with their faith, who don't know what to believe, who hear at every turn that faith is in conflict with science. Those are the people I want to reach. Those are the ones who are looking for good information, who are open to new ideas.
I'm glad that you made that confession. I try to answer to the best of my ability to answer and according to what I have experienced in Christ Jesus. When I answer I pray that the Lord keeps me humble and that it is not the flesh that answers, but the Spirit of God.
There are no selfish motives that I have for answering except for the few times my flesh got in the way. They are few and far between. I came to Yahoo/Answers to serve the Lord and that is all.
If you are here to prove to others that you are knowledgeable then maybe it is time for you to go elsewhere. If you were here for that reason and since have repented then pray and seek God to see if He would still want you to stay. It is and should be ultimately up to Him.
Edit: By the way. A person on Yahoo/Answers just told me today that he was going to give God a try. That alone is worth all the frustration and trials and rejection here on Yahoo/Answers.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
