What's the silliest thing you've ever purchased online, without actually having ever checked it out in real life?

Mine is perfume. Somebody wrote a really good description, and I ordered based on that alone. Ridiculous - I know.

Have you ever ordered something that you probably should have checked out first, so it was pretty silly? Asked by Goodbye!44 months ago Similar questions: silliest thing purchased online checked real life Consumer Electronics > Video Games.

Sigh...Yes** **Okay, okay...I got it because it was red. I wanted a red trashcan in my kitchen. I found one--and I ordered it...it looked like a red bullet--and was 3 feet tall.

Wow, I was excited. I got it, unpacked it and THEN I looked at the price... That dingdang trash can cost $89.99--and $20 shipping. A trashcan for over $100?Sheesh... I had it in my kitchen for over 5 years and I hated it.

To get the trash bag out, you had to lift up the entire outter portion of the trashcan! Ug. I used it as a great symbol of what I think I might have to have--I don't have to have.

My hubby was very kind about the bill. He knew I felt badly and had learned a lesson. Last time my Florida sister was here--she admired it and I sent it home with her.... $100 trashcan?

That money was trashe;-) Sources: Life lessons... SeekerSeeking's Recommendations The buying impulse and how to lead it, Buying....can be a rush...

Dvds I have purchased a few boxsets from AMAZON UK never having seen or heard of the series.........lucky me they were all good I also use AMAZON for dvds and make purchases of DVDs by word of mouth. Its very unusual for me to buy a dvd without not seeing it first.

Daisy Motif glasses and pitcher I found out Amazon had this thing called Lightning Deals, and I became hooked instantly. My first purchase was four glasses with a pitcher in a daisy motif. It was $9.99 with free shipping, how could I pass it up?

Well, there are twelve people living in my house.....I don't think four glasses will be very useful. Well I guess it will be a gift to someone this year I just recently bought diabetic candy from Amazon...yet no one in my house is a diabetic..It was 50% off so I bought it. When it arrived at my house it was melted.

Amazon refunded me the full amount. So I guess I lucked out on that purchase I'm a horrible impulse buyer! Not me, my husband A few years ago, my husband ordered a device that’s supposed to firm your chin. You strap it on your head, and I don’t really know what’s supposed to happen after that. I think he spent close to $200 on it.

Now, my husband is an educated man and not usually prone to things like this. But he has that fairly common English profile with a pretty severely receding chin. He’s really sensitive about it.

The problem is, it’s bone structure. No strap-on device is going to do anything about that. The only thing that will change it is jaw surgery.

He knows this but hope springs eternal, I guess. I searched Google Products to look for it to include here, but it’s not there anymore. Too bad….. SharonW's Recommendations They told me I was gullible... And I believed them Large Bumper Sticker .

RUB-A-WAY It's a stainless steel bar that's shaped like a bar of soap. It's supposed to remove the smell of onions, fish, etc. From your hands by using the bar under running water like soap. Surprisingly, it really works.

It has to be a real song. " "Is there such a thing as a store that buys back your used video games" "why dose life suck and why is video games addicting?" "Whats the silliest thing you have seen advertised this holiday season? " "Is Manny Pacquiao the closest thing to a real life Rocky?

We just purchased an hp pc,it was doing fine but when my brother tried downloading and playing video games..

Is there such a thing as a store that buys back your used video games.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
