Similar questions: favorite TV show time catagories.
My list... Drama: Lost ... I just think the show is unique. So many unanswered questions. It is not over yet but it definitely has the potential to be my all-time favorite.
Sitcom: Seinfeld ... Easily my favorite...I still watch reruns often. Just such a perfect collection of characters I like everyone on the show. Game Show: Price is Right ... Go with the old stand by.
I can remember watching it when I was a little kid...just loved it. So many variations and different games it never got boring. A lot of chances for you as a watcher to make your own guesses and judgements.
Talk Show: Letterman ... Don't watch it much any more but there was a time when I watched it nightly. A lot of memorable moments...had a little edge especially in the early yearts. Reality: Survivor ... Still my favorite.
The premise is just the best. I do not like all of the variations they have done recently but I still watch and it is still a very interesting game. That is what I really like about it is I feel it is a real contest and very challenging.

Ok, on the grounds that I am 50, I am answering.. Drama: NYPD Blue - I like cop shows in general, having been one as a younger man. This one was my favorite. I must say that "the Unit" is fast approaching it as a favorite, though.
I think you could break this one up to cop show, lawyer show, medical show, sci-Fi, military, soap operaSitcom - MASH - I have all the seasons on DVD and watch them on TV land from time to time. It is always funny. 2nd place: I think The Dick Van Dyke ShowGame Show - The Price is right - Bob Barker is the Man - that show is great and I am PUMPED for the Drew Carey version starting tomorrow.2nd place: JeopardyTalk Show - The Late show with David Letterman - been watching Dave since he was Johnny's permanent Guest host and then his daytime show, Late Night and now on CBS.
He interviews well - my only complaint is how liberal politically he's become. 2nd Place: Johnny CarsonReality Show - I'd have to say Big Brother - it at least makes sense to me, it's during the summer, while nothing else is on. It's ok - best of the bunch - Hell's Kitchen is 2nd.

Responding to this reminds me that TV just isn't enjoyable any more. My favorite drama is probably Cagney and Lacey. I don’t even watch those types of shows anymore because they’re too violent.
I don’t think I can choose just one sitcom, but my favorite three, in no particular order, are WKRP in Cincinatti, All in the Family, and Frasier. There hasn’t been anything funny on TV in a long time, except for re-runs of Frasier that I watch every weekday after the noon news. Choosing a favorite game show is easy.
Jeopardy is the only one I like. Oh, but I just remembered, I used to love Passwords, and even played the home version a lot, especially in college. Oprah would have to be my favorite talk show, because it’s not your typical talk show.
You couldn’t pay me to watch most talk shows, but Oprah gets into some very intelligent topics. I don’t watch all of the time, but I try to watch when she has authors or Dr. Oz on. I also don’t generally care for reality shows, but I do watch American Idol.
That is, I watch it once it’s far enough into the season to see some actual talent. I don’t watch the freak shows they start out with every season. One more.
I stll love the Andy Griffith shows. They’re in a category by themselves. I watch too much TV. Drama: Dark Angel. It was a great, interesting, often thoughtful show, and it was the only thing in which Jessica Alba was ever any good.
I wish she'd given up acting after that show. I enjoyed the premise: what if the military tinkered with genetics and their super soldiers escaped. The hip-hop slang gets old after a while, but the stories were good and I liked all the characters, even the bad guys.
Entertainment: I'm not sure what this category means. Game shows: Jeopardy. I like to test myself.
I wouldn't do too well if I were on the show. Comedy: The Simpsons. It's not always good, but when it is good, it is the funniest thing ever.It draws from a wide range of cultural references.
It rewards you for watching too much TV. That's probably a bad thing.TV shows: (I'm assuming this to mean my favorite of all the categories. ) Dark Angel.
( And not just because of the tight pants Jessica Alba wears, although that doesn't hurt anything.) Reality shows: Nature on PBS. That's reality. "Reality" shows such as American Idol are staged and contrived and have almost nothing to do with any reality I've ever met.
Nature, on the other hand, gives me access to realities I couldn't easily visit on my own. My favorite episode of Nature was "Dogs that changed the World. " I would recommend this to everyone, even if you're not a dog nut like me.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
