The Witching Hour is my favorite of Rice's books. The first time I read this, I absolutely adored it - it's a deliciously decadent family saga, with a decidedly macabre twist. The narrative switches back and forth between the life of a modern woman who learns that she's part of a very interesting family, and lengthy looks back at the entire history of this family, all the way back to the accused witch who sets it all into motion.
A beautifully told, seductive story - inviting and disturbing at the same time.
I have only read interview with a vampire so I will only be able to say that one.
My all time favourite would have to be The Tale of the Body Thief; I absolutely loved that book, although all of her books that I've read so far have been great reads.
Oh my gosh! Anne Rice is my all time favorite writer! My favortie is the vampire chronicles.
Favorite out of those wow..would have to be the vampire Lestat. Isn't it just an awesome read? I was terribly sad when I ran out of those books to read!
Great question :).
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
