Expanding on your suggestion... Have on hand different sizes of those modern ice cream scoops, the ones with the release trigger, for different measuring tasks... you can use these for meatballs (big and small), cookie dough, pancake batter, mashed potatoes, etc. Pfzlsk's Recommendations OXO Good Grips Cookie Scoop - PARENT Average Customer Rating: 4.5 out of 5 (based on 45 reviews) Norpro 2-Tablespoon Stainless Steel Scoop Amazon List Price: $11.99 Average Customer Rating: 4.0 out of 5 (based on 14 reviews) .
I bake a lot... and go through lots of different kinds of flour. To solve a variety of storage problems, here's what I do. I use the tins that you get 3 kinds of popped popcorn in for by flour and oatmeal (All-purpose, Whole Wheat, In each tin, I keep a 1 or 2 cup dry measure, a plastic scoop, and a chopstick. So when I'm ready to bake, the measuring devices are already in the tin.
To make sure others in the household can tell them apart, I've pulled the paper off a couple of the advertising refrigerator magnets (we have a place that sends them in pizza ads constantly) and labeled the All-Purpose and gh Gluten tins with the appropriate labels. I may have the tins memorized by pattern, but that doesn't mean anyone else does. This arrangement works especially well with my weekly use of the bread machine--at least 2 batches of dough a week, and at least one batch every week will take 2 cups of all purpose and 2 cups of whole wheat, or 2 of whole wheat and 2 of high gluten flour.

The potato ricer! I don't know what I did before I got one. I remember lumpy potatoes, my arm sore from mashing, and just never getting a wonderful light consistency.
Now that I have my ricer, I have someone feeding potatoes in and someone operating the gadget. It takes a couple of minutes and I nuke the butter and milk in the microwave while they do the ricing, lightly toss it all together with some salt (potatoes need lots of salt! ), and perfect mashed potatoes, every time!

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
