My wife and I sell vintage Hallmark ornaments on eBay, so I have a pretty large list of ones I like a lot... but my personal favorite is the Star Trek 30th Anniversary silver Enterprise with shuttlecraft. It talks, though there's some argument around the house whether it's William Shatner's voice, or Leonard Nimoy's (The audio is kind of fuzzy. ).
I like the Superman in the phone booth too - He spins, going from Clark Kent to Superman.
There's so many great ones, it's hard to pick just one! Great question.
I really don't want anyone to know **grin** but I have the first Star Trek ornament - no I have not put it on the tree for a very long time.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
