Wow, I don't think I've ever seen Sixteen Candles. I'm going to get it tonight.
Well I believe the name "the breakfast club" in this context was invented by the creators of the movie. But I'm amazed at the whole phenomenon of school detention.
I think my pick would be the Breakfast Club. I live in Illinois now (like Hughe's did for much of his life, basing many of his films or their settings off of the Chicago area), but at the time I really had never heard of a "breakfast club" or weekend detention. But now that both my kids have attended high school here, I see this is a common thing. At their school they call it "Saturday School.
" I still think it's strange.
I have to say though, that I really liked Ferris Bueller's Day Off a lot too. It was just a fun movie but with a lot of good lessons.
It will always be Sixteen Candles. I have a special place in my heart for Farmer Ted.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
