I think you allways should take care of your body. There are lots of humble bumble in the press. If you eat the right food I don´t think you need this.
Body doesn't need detox, body detoxes itself naturally.
I have been around natural detoxes for a while, I have researched them carefully and I have spoke with quite a few experts on the subject, but one thing can tell you for sure is there are some extreme detox solutions that are harsh on the body, and there are others that work great. I have been taking liver cleanse pills for a couple of months now and they do a good job, they basically "help" your liver work at optimum levels. It's true the body detoxes itself, but most people don't realize how many toxins you put in your body from alot of different things you do.
Adding toxins all day everyday to a body with toxins in it can slow down the liver function. The liver is the body's filter. That's where I would start with the part of your body that filters the toxins.
I also agree with ts erlandsson, eating the right foods, especially organic can help a lot.
Ask your doctor go armed with a list of ingredients in the detox. Also go to healthfood store and ask same question again with list of detox ingredients and don't let them sell you their own brand. I have had a colonscopy and the thought of doing that for three weeks is beyond awful.
Jan, it certainly does not sound fun, but Im betting it is great for your health. We take trace minerals every day that continuely detox our system. Also when I quit smokiing on Aug.1 2010, I took detox pills to help cleanse my system and I always feel better after I do.
I would say go for it.
JanI think detox in periods is very good for the body. I am agree with Gary Rowell about cleansing the liver, because of much toxins. I am very interested in health and herbals, and my experience is that "mariatistel" is a very good herbal for the liver.
Rawfood as Chlorella and spirulina algas are good products too. Obvious, eating the right food is very imp "the food shall be your medicine,and the medicine shall be your food.
Thanks for the responses. I have never done this before and I agree with you Right On Time, that is why I have held off. But, what about the excess of toxic chemicals that are in our food and our environment.
Does our body really have the capacity to cleanse itself on such a large scale?
Detox once in a while for me is good for the body as it cleanses your body almost completely from any toxins. As long as it's healthy i'd say go for it. Detox also helps you feel good inside.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
