Being in shape is a real advantage in tennis, so doing your favourite cardio exercise regularly would help (that's not very exciting, but it's one factor of good tennis-playing so it is one of the things that can help; you can beat better players just by being in better shape) The other advantage for tennis is if you are fortunate enough to find a really good teacher who knows good form and knows how to teach it to others (many can do but aren't so good at teaching) and there are few enough in the class that the teacher really has the opportunity to teach you. Some people are athletically gifted and can pick it up from minimal teaching and can echo the body language by watching someone (I was not one of those people; I had to be taught). I feel that tennis is one of the activities for which form *is* important.
For example, I have quick reflexes and track the ball well and can get away with a lot, but if I start to get lazy and do things the "convenient" way instead of what's right, my rate of good shots always starts to decline. Many people don't really "get" serves even after being taught, but a good overhead serve is so much more reliable and versatile in placing the ball where you want than the variations people can use to get it over the net. It might help to just watch people serve to get an idea of the components of the movement.
Depending on what you know already, it can also help to become acquainted with the areas of the tennis court and the rules of play beforehand (which would make it less confusing in class) Tennis is really fun; I hope you enjoy it and I wish you luck.
It can be if you are actually trying and/or you have a good coach that makes you do conditioning to better your skills. A lot of people think tennis is a easy sport that anyone can do, but it's harder than it seems and way more fun than it looks! Doubles is easier than singles by a lot.
I play doubles and when I do play singles I am out of breath way sooner. You have to run way more, but some people prefer it because you don't have to worry about your doubles partner messing up. And singles players are usually better tennis players overall.
If your worried about tennis being hard, what I have to say is that it is easier than other sports like basketball, volleyball, or soccer but it isn't as easy as everyone says it is. Be prepared to run laps everyday and a some conditioning once in a while. You really don't need to prepare for tennis tryouts besides knowing the general things to play tennis.
Like ground strokes, backhands, volleys, etc. (if you are in average health). Hope this helped x).
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
