The answer is no, the guitar is not the simplest string instrument to learn. I'm not quite sure if there are any reports that tell you which one is, but I can tell you from my own experience. Anything that requires playing more than one string at a time, at least for me, was much more difficult than when I learned the bass guitar.
The bass is a much simpler instrument to pick up, as it's typically only played one string and fret at a time. The bass does not have to be played at a fast pace to sound good, although when you have mastered all of the notes, it may be played faster and faster as with any other instrument. Many great songs have been written and recorded with slow bass lines, and sound amazing.
The only things you may have an issue with is keeping the dexterity in your fingers up and building up the callouses. Hope this helps!
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
