There are many careers that involve helping animals. From working in a veterinary hospital or clinic to pet sitting to dog walking, there are a great number of possibilities. I work in a veterinary hospital as a veterinary assistant.

Our vet techs are responsible for assisting during surgeries, performing dental exams and cleanings, administering vaccinations, performing diagnostic testing, taking radiographs (x-rays) and providing owner education.
