Trans fats are formed in a process called hydrogenation, which converts an unsaturated liquid fat into a solid one. This lengthens the shelf life, so it’s ideal for restaurants and food manufacturers. However, the body treats hydrogenated fat like saturated fat, which is known to clog arteries, raise your cholesterol, and increase your risk of heart disease and other conditions.
Trans fat not only raises your LDL (bad) cholesterol, but it actually lowers your HDL (good) cholesterol as well! Trans fat is known to increase blood levels of low density lipoprotein (LDL), which is "bad" cholesterol, in the mean time it lowers the levels of high density lipoprotein (HDL), which is "good" cholesterol. It is also known to give you type 2 diabetes and other serious health problems, which all can lead to heart attack and or stroke.
Eat healthy, period. Now most labels on food will show you how much trans fat is in the food you are buying. Check labels.
Basically eat mostly foods that do not have a label. If you don’t eat anything that comes in a box or is pre-packaged with a label, then you won’t ever consume manmade Trans fat. If your diet consists primarily of fruits, fibrous vegetables, root vegetables, beans, legumes, brown rice, unprocessed whole grains, nuts, seeds, eggs, fish and lean meats, you’re home free.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
