What notable events happened on Feb 23rd in Middle Earth?

The notable events happened on February 23rd according to the history of middle-earth ::: # February 23, 3019 TA: Legolas Greenleaf shoots a Fell Beast ridden by one of the Nazgul; Shadowfax returns alone to Rohan but will permit no one to ride him. The Fellowship first encountered one of the Fell Beasts on the night of February 23, 3019, as they rowed down the Anduin.

They were attacked by Orcs, and then a dark shape passed overhead. Legolas shot and killed the Beast with an arrow, but its Rider survived. Frodo sensed that it was one of the Nazgul.(The Fellowship of the Ring)

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
