Hinduism has seers/ sages whose vision of the reality forms the basis which is called as shruthi(Vedas). Abrahamic religions are prophet centric, the life and the teachings form the basis. The authority of hinduism rest in the shruthis'(Vedas and Vedantha).
The authority of abrahamic religions rest in Hebrew Bible, Christian Bible and the Quran. Abrahamic religions are monotheistic with christianity having an aspect of trinity. Hinduism basically has panthesitic concept of Godhead/ The Supreme is known as "Brahman":http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/B... based on this the manifest aspect of Brahman gives Hinduism its polytheistic concept.
Surely there is many more such differences between abrahamic and Hindu/ Sanatam dharma ( the eternal law) here my idea of differences between any religion is not about one religion being superior to the other its all about the different perspectives about the reality that each religion has. These differences is a very essential aspect of life. I don't have much knowledge about abrahamic religions if there any mistakes please correct me.
And whatever little knowledge I have about my own religion Hinduism plz correct me if there are any mistakes there too.. P.S. Hinduism is surely the most complex religion in the world but its not fake nor is any other religion..
Christianity and Judaism are linked. They are the prophecy and fulfillment of the Messiah. Islam is just crazy.
It's not a Abrahamic religion any more than a pinto is a Chevy.. Hindu is practiced on land, and that big river in India. There is land and rivers in the Bible. I guess that makes them similar.. :p.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
